Hamilton Locke has appointed Mark Schneider as a litigation and specialist restructuring partner, located in the firm’s newly launched Brisbane office. This brings our total number of partners to 24, after having appointed nine partners in the past 12 months.
Mark joins from Norton Rose Fulbright and specialises in corporate restructuring, business turnaround, insolvency and commercial litigation. Mark has been a go-to practitioner for major trading and investment banks, secured and unsecured creditors, directors and insolvency practitioners for strategic advice on a range of complex issues for many years. Alongside his alternative dispute resolution expertise, he regularly instructs counsel in the Appellate, Federal, Supreme and District Courts of Australia.
Mark’s experience spans many industry sectors including retail, commercial, rural and residential property, hotels and leisure, telecommunications, mining, energy and resources.
Prior to Hamilton Locke, Mark worked for firms including Norton Rose Fulbright, Henry Davis York, Allens and Dentons in London.
